Our lives are full of adventure, full of romance and surprise, full of sad times and happy times...but our lives today seem to be moving at a break-neck speed leaving little time to preserve our families' special memories.
As professional organizers, for the past ten years we have been helping busy families and individuals learn to streamline their homes and offices. One thing we realized was that many of them were struggling with issues of preserving their past while making room for life today and tomorrow.
Reflecting back on our childhood years and the wonderful times spent with family and friends, we realized that many of the stories we had grown up hearing might soon be lost. To hear in their own words, the stories of our parents and grandparents, our aunts and uncles, and stories their parents had told them would be a gift of immeasurable value.
Though times may have changed, the roots of our families and the stories we have been told are what bind us together and make up a part of who we are today.
What began as a simple journey to document our family's history has now turned into a way to help others like us keep their familys' stories, photos, memories, and cherished moments alive.
